Yoga Intensive Series
Yoga Teacher Training Public Workshops led by Amy and Jayme
For the first time, Amy and Jayme are opening a few of the workshops and lectures from YTT to the public. This is a perfect opportunity for new or seasoned yogis to discover the WHY and HOW of key principles in your yoga practice, covering postures to the more gray areas of energy, bandhas, and living the yogic lifestyle. These workshops will also serve RYT’s as CE hours under Yoga Alliance. You can participate as a series or just pick and choose what you’re the most interested in!
Sign up to attend individual workshops below. Or attend the entire series of workshops and your investment is only $400 (does not include books for the book discussion).
Pranayama (breathing) and proper engagement of basic bandhas can have a profound affect on your practice and experience on the mat. Join Amy for a 2 part workshop to break down all the components.
Understanding proper alignment in the standing postures is essential to building a strong foundation to grow from. If lunges and balance poses feel off to you, you’ll want to make time for this informative workshop with Amy!
In this 2 part chi (energy) workshop, Jayme will break down and explore the circulation of chi and yin/yang theory. This will help you to understand the WHY behind our practice.
Hips can be a tricky area. When aligned can release tension through out the body but when mis-aligned can constrict the spine and lead to continued aches and pains.
Saturday 9/7 • 12:00 – 1:30 &
Sunday 9/8 • 12:45 – 2:15 PM
Western Anatomy and Asana with Rick Robinette
Join Rick Robinette, LMT, MTI, and CE provider as he breaks down how the muscles, tendons, ligaments work together in the most common yoga poses. This is a great opportunity for RYT’s to brush up on your anatomy knowledge and make your sequencing stronger.
Freeing up the spine and heart space is a great energetic release! However often these are done wrong and can lead to inury. Join Amy as she breaks down the main compenents of revolves and heart openers.
The core provides our body with the proper support to move our spine and limbs freely. Often when our practice has “plateaued” it’s related to lack of core strength. Join Jayme for an in depth look at core strengthening in our yoga practice.
When all the basics fall into place, there is a divine space where you feel an energetic currant and you’re just along for the ride. Join Amy for a comprehensive look at this underlying energy and how to tap into on your mat.

Fundamentals of Arm Balancing
$25 each session or $40 for both
When we love someone, we hug them tight we share a meaningful touch and moment of gratitude. It’s a special squeeze of trust. It is intimate and a sharing of love. On the mat, it starts from within..
In this two part workshop, learn how to hug yourself — literally! Discover how the principles of “hugging” the midline in basic postures can help you embody the not so basic postures — arm balances. Teach your body to trust itself and it will heal itself.

- October 26th: Pt. 2 – (Vyana variations) “running man” 1&2, firefly 2, astavakrasana, vishvamitrasana.
Each session is $25 individually, or sign up for both sessions for $40.
